2025 January recap:
This year kicked off with some of our Sqn staff team attending the Sussex wing annual training day, where members of staff from across Sussex wing came together to talk with subject matter experts and personnel from around the wing. Productive day with some great networking as a result.
On squadron we resumed normal operations bringing first aid, classification, Sqn band (a new project for 2464 with help from our wing band officer) and hosting our neighbours at 1140 for a sports evening and first aid scenarios evening.
We had 2464 presence out in the wing at this month’s wing training weekend, sending cadets and staff taking part and instructing on bronze leadership and on Bronze Radio and Cyber courses.
And also had a promotion welcoming our newest Sgt into our SNCO team. Congratulations Sgt, much deserved.
All that as-well as many other projects in the works at 2464.
