Members of the team recently visited Liverpool City Region Combined Authority to capture some behind-the-scenes moments and speak with Director of Digital & Transformation Lorna Rogers and Project Manager James Trafford ChPP about the impact of chartership and some of the projects helping to shape the region.

It was a great opportunity to hear their experiences, learn more about project delivery in action and shine a light on the people behind the projects.

A big thank you to Lorna, James and the team for welcoming us.

Sarah Jane Gardner breaks down exactly what went wrong and why it matters for every project professional working in governance today.

Recent activity has seen APM supporting the growth of new project management communities around the world.

The APM Victoria Network recently held its first event, bringing together project professionals from different sectors, organisations and career stages to discuss leadership, project decision-making and the future of the profession.

Hosted at EnergyAustralia, the event gave attendees the opportunity to hear from industry leaders, connect with peers and help shape the future of the emerging APM Victoria community.

A fantastic milestone for the network and an exciting step in growing APM's presence in Australia.

A successful project doesn't start with a plan. It starts with people.

In this week's Project Podcast, Emma is joined by Lindsey Brown, Kerry Daly and Anita Suji to discuss how to start projects the right way, even when teams are still forming, priorities are shifting and not everything is ready on day one.

From kick-off meetings and stakeholder alignment to psychological safety, team culture and managing optimism bias, they share practical advice on building momentum and setting projects up for success from the start.
