Risborough Wrens run various sub-groups which includes our "Repair and Upcycle" group. We do repairs for local charity shops, for example, which means the items can be sold in the shop rather than sent to less useful destinations! Had fun with this one, sort of Japanese style repair.

Looking forward to seeing you at our next meeting on 4th September when we will enjoy "Poet in Motion" Mark Niel, who is the official Poet Laureate of Milton Keynes. Poet in Motion is the narrative of moving from a safe 20-year career in Financial Services to an uncertain, yet more creative and fulfilling one. Heard on BBC Radios 2, 4 and Five Live, Mark’s talk is entertaining and engaging with lots of laughs thrown in !

If you haven't yet been to one of our meetings, you are most welcome to join us. We start at 7:45pm on the first Thursday of every month at The Princes Centre, Clifford Road, Princes Risborough HP27 0DP. As a charity we don't charge an entrance fee for non-members but a small donation is always welcome. There will be cake! You can BYO alcohol.
