💻☕ A lovely morning last week at our Bolton Road Methodist Church, Bury class, which coincided with a Macmillan Coffee Morning.

Our volunteers were busy helping with everything from emails to smartphones, with the added bonus of some fantastic cakes! 🍰

A great morning of learning, conversation and supporting a brilliant cause. 💚

Another lovely Circle brunch at Time for Tea - Prestwich ☕🍳

Our members enjoyed good food, plenty of conversation and a chance to catch up together.

It was especially lovely to welcome some of our newly joined Circle members along for the first time. We hope you enjoyed yourselves and felt right at home! 😊

Our monthly brunches are a relaxed and friendly way to meet new people, enjoy some company and get to know other Circle members.

Lancashire vs Yorkshire. Black puddings vs Yorkshire puddings. What could possibly go wrong? 😂

Circle members headed to Ramsbottom for the annual WORLD BLACK PUDDING THROWING CHAMPIONSHIPS, where the aim is to knock Yorkshire puddings from a 20 foot high plinth by hurling black puddings at them!

They had a brilliant time soaking up the atmosphere, watching the competition and enjoying one of the more unusual local traditions.

Circle member Martin even stepped up to the oche and had a go himself. Sadly, Yorkshire’s puddings remained completely untroubled by his efforts.

A great day out, plenty of laughs and definitely something a little different for our Circle members!
