We’re building something special for our Armed Forces community, a warm, welcoming space to connect, share, and support one another over a brew.

Brew and Belong Café runs every Wednesday, bringing people together for free tea, coffee, and biscuits in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Now, we’re looking to take the next step, and we need your help.

One of the ways we bring this to life is through Destiny Utd FC, our football team that’s been breaking the stigma around mental health and social isolation since 2023.

Competing in the Scottish Mental Health & Wellbeing League and playing friendlies across Scotland, the team is proof that sport can change lives. Every session builds confidence. Every match strengthens community. Every goal challenges stigma.

After a hard-fought game in weather that couldn’t quite decide whether it wanted to be wet or dry, Destiny United gave it everything on the pitch.

In the end, we fell to Falkirk Foundation FFIT 7–4, but the scoreline doesn’t tell the full story.

What we witnessed was determination, resilience and togetherness from start to finish. Every single player showed that their and their . The work rate, the encouragement for one another and the refusal to give up spoke volumes about the character within this squad.

There were real positives to take away, passages of quality play, brilliant team moves and moments of individual composure under pressure. Most importantly, there was belief.

Both Destiny United and Falkirk demonstrated that football is about far more than results. It’s about connection. It’s about support. It’s about creating a safe space where people can come together, challenge themselves and grow stronger, physically and mentally.

By stepping onto the pitch, both teams showed how the power of football can help break down the stigmas surrounding Mental Health Wellbeing and Social Isolation. When we come together as a team and as a community, we remind one another that no one stands alone.

We go again, stronger, louder and prouder. 💙⚽

Partnership Announcement

Destiny United is delighted to announce a new working partnership with Kick Mental Health - West Lothian.

This partnership reflects our shared commitment to promoting positive mental health, building resilience and supporting our community both on and off the pitch.

Kick Mental Health - West Lothian said, “We are more than happy to have a working partnership. We are now in a position where we are really looking to push our services out to more than just the West Lothian area. This partnership can broaden the awareness of mental health in our region and beyond.”

Founder of Destiny United FC, Andrew, said, “I am very proud to partner with Kick Mental Health to champion strength beyond the game. Together, we are breaking stigma, empowering players of all ages, and building resilience on and off the field. United in purpose, we are creating a future where mental health matters and every voice is heard.”
