In a recent speech, the Prime Minister said he agrees with all recommendations in the Nuclear Regulatory Review and wants them applied beyond nuclear developments.

That means proposals originally aimed at nuclear projects could be extended across multiple sectors, dramatically increasing the risk to nature. This could pave the way for yet another damaging Planning Bill, making nature’s recovery even harder. 🚨

Now is the moment to speak out before these proposals become law. Write a letter to Ed Miliband now via the link in our bio under 'Take Action': https://action.wildlifetrusts.org/page/183790/action/1

Nature and wildlife are too often blamed for delays in development. 👷

Yet the evidence shows that development that works with nature delivers higher-quality, more sustainable places to live and work - benefitting communities and the economy alike.

Labelling bats, newts and spiders as “blockers” overlooks the essential role a healthy environment plays in long-term economic resilience and quality of life. 🦇

Challenge the myths being promoted by the UK Government and stand up for evidence-based policy during the Fingleton Review. Use your voice by sending our letter to Ed Miliband: https://action.wildlifetrusts.org/page/183790/action/1
