In today’s episode of , Tobi thought he escaped hidden charges… until Council Tax came for him. 😅💻

Rent? Paid.
Deposit? Paid.
Electricity? Paid.
Freedom? Not today, my guy.

Only in the UK will you get a brown envelope that says, “Surprise! You owe money for street lights, rubbish collection, and libraries you’ve never used.” Back home, tax is a theory; here, tax is a subscription you cannot unsubscribe from.

Nigerians in the UK, which “hidden bill” shocked you first? Drop your story 👇🏽

In today’s episode of , Ibrahim just wanted to buy rice and oil… but the supermarket had other plans. 😅🛒

One aisle, ten types of rice. Another aisle, twenty types of oil. Even the cereal section looked like an exam question.

Back home, shopping is simple: rice, beans, oil, go home. Here, it’s “basmati, long grain, easy cook, or jasmine?” My guy just wanted dinner, not a PhD in groceries. 😂

Sometimes abundance is its own kind of confusion.

Nigerians in the UK, what’s the most confusing thing you’ve seen in a British supermarket? Drop it below 👇🏽
