Hello everyone!

Just a quick post to say that Kirkham Cultural Connections will be on Kirkham Market Square tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am–2pm.

We’ll have some heritage-inspired crafts and colouring activities for people to drop in and enjoy, and we’ll also be there for a chat if anyone would like to find out more about creative and heritage events happening locally or ways to get involved.

It’s completely free and very relaxed, so if you’re in town please feel free to pop by and say hello!

After a long winter, we’re kicking off our 2026 events by returning to Market Square next Saturday (14th March), 10am–2pm.

Come and colour, craft and connect with Kirkham Cultural Connections. Drop in for some heritage-inspired crafts, a friendly chat, and to find out about creative events and opportunities in the local area.

Well done Kirkham In Bloom 💐🌸🥳

🎉🎉🎉Fabulous news! 🎉🎉🎉

Kirkham in Bloom was at the Northwest in Bloom Awards today at Bolton Stadium, and I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that we struck GOLD! 🏅🌸💚

Last year (2024) we were awarded Silver Gilt and we have gone one better this year, bringing home GOLD!

We couldn’t be prouder! A massive thank you to all our amazing volunteers for their incredible hard work, dedication, and community spirit, you make Kirkham shine!

And of course, we couldn’t have achieved this without our wonderful town gardeners, Terry and his team, and our fantastic street cleaner, Phill. Your hard work keeps Kirkham looking beautiful every single day. Thank you all! 🌼👏

We’re so pleased to see a write up of our Celebrating Kirkham and Wesham's Textile Heritage event featured on Fylde Councils website!

We really appreciate Fylde Council ’s support. They helped us get established as a group by funding our Culture in the Market Square and Cultivating Creativity projects which both helped lay the foundations for this wonderful event.

We can’t wait to keep doing more for events like this the people of Kirkham and Wesham! 💛
