10 years after our glorious PYDC family member first attended UDance as a participant with PYDC, this weekend she was presenting her own youth work, choreographing on the brilliant
Our current PYDCers loved the work and could see themselves in it, seeing in action the DNA that stays with all those that have passed through the PYDC family over the last 14 years.
And this is something we’ve been reflecting on a lot recently…about the thread that connects all of our PYDC family together, the DNA that we find in everyone that has joined us on that journey and we even used this is the foundation of our latest PYDC piece ‘Threads of Us’…
Our community and practice is really important to us for this very reason…it’s lifelong. As we look to where our community are now, carving epic careers across the sector and beyond, we are so proud of those that have moved with us and helped us realise and hone this way of working. It continuously reminds us what an absolute privilege this job is 💙
