We held our Christmas meeting yesterday and were entertained by Karen Gordon, from Blackpool Branch, demonstrating techniques for stencilling on chocolate.
As you can see from our photos, Karen produces some fabulous work and it tasted fantastic - it tasted as good as it looked! Thank you Karen. See you again soon.

After a super demonstration of Christmas Novelties by our own Carol Crouch in October, our members on Saturday held a workshop led by Carol to make their own decorations. Although we had intended to make choirboys, angels and baubles, most of us only got as far as the choirboys! Nevertheless, we all enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Hope everyone enjoyed your Summer break. Our meetings start on Saturday 6th September, 2 o’clock at St Margaret’s Church hall, Ingol.

Our demonstrater is Priscilla Burke, from Blackpool.Branch who will be showing us how to create a Gravity Defying cake.

Come along and join us, tea and coffee is served before the meeting.

In place of our normal meeting, this year's outing was held on 5 July when we went to Huntleys at Samlesbury. A good afternoon was had by all and we enjoyed our afternoon tea. Thanks to the staff for the way they looked after us.

We will be taking our usual summer break in August, so our next meeting will be on Saturday, 6 September when Priscilla Burke from Blackpool branch will demonstrate her Gravity Defying Cake.
