A public page for 1st Ashton (St Michael's) Scout Group.We run Beavers, Cubs and Scouts session each week, term time only, from the Church Hall of St Michael and All Angels. The Hall is located by the side of the Church, slightly further round on Tulketh Road.Beavers age range is 5¾years to 8 years old.Cubs age range is 8 years old to 10½ years old.Scouts age range is 10½ years to 14 years old.We

offer a diverse range of activities to each section as they work towards Chief Scout Awards. For Beavers it's the Bronze Award, for Cubs it's the Silver. Scouts work towards the Gold Award.The Scout Association is committed to being inclusive of all young people, regardless of ability or disability and has a clear Equal Opportunities Policy. There is flexibility within Scouting and all Scout groups should make reasonable adjustments wherever possible to support the inclusion of young people with disabilities or additional needs. ( Scouts.org.uk)Feel free to get in contact should you wish your child to have a taster session....or even if you would. We always need adult volunteers! (Adults working within Scouting will need to undertake a Criminal Record Check)
