Blue Flamingo Cafe The Blue Flamingo Cafe is a place to have a chat and a brew in a welcoming dementia-friendly space. There is no need to pre-book.

The Blue Flamingo Cafe is currently offering sessions specifically designed for those with dementia and their carers. The cafe operates on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 1-3pm in the church hall of St Michael and All Angels Church in Ashton, Preston. Each session will offer activity tables including jigsaws, historical photographs, memory boxes and more. A singing group, led by local musician Annie Tiley, will be held from 2-2.30 during each session. For more information please contact Erin Singleton at [email protected].

Another busy week for Blue Flamingo! We have a creative session in Ashton, we’ll be ‘rocking & rolling’ with Ted & Nick in Penwortham and Jon will be leading the sing-along on Thursday at Creating Connections at Deepdale Stadium.

If you haven’t already joined our flock, this week could be a good one to pop along as we have such a wide variety of activities going on! Equally you could join us just for a brew and a chat.

Here at Blue Flamingo we provide friendship, food and fun in a space where you are seen, heard, valued and held. Hope to see you soon.

What a fabulously fun time we had bringing our 3rd Annual Variety Show fundraiser to the wonderful community of Ashton. It was great seeing so many smiling faces and people just having a jolly good time.

A lot of work went into making this such a successful event and we’d like to extend a massive thank you to the talented musicians and performers who made the night what it was. Also a huge huge thank you to our dedicated team of volunteers who turn up week in, week out giving their time to make sure everybody has a great time, you are true unsung heroes. Thank you also to our host St Michael and All Angels Church with St Mark’s Preston for use of the space and to all the wonderful people who attended the event.

We're still recovering from Saturday's flamazing Variety Show. Thanks to everyone who joined us. We had a brilliant time and hope you did too.
