⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE ⚠️

All library kits are now available at £7.50 total for an 8 week hire.

Read why below 👇

In recent months the cloth nappy industry - like many others - has faced heavy losses, with much loved retailers (including TotsBots, CloseParent and Baba+Boo) announcing closures.

Library demand is lower than it has been since our launch - and we understand! Living costs are extraordinarily high, and worrying about what kind of nappy you use in the midst of escalating financial concerns just doesn't make sense.

We, like many other libraries in the UK nappy network, are keen to do our bit to help cloth nappies make it through the squeeze approaching. Therefore we are reducing our costs significantly for the foreseeable - we will no longer be able to purchase new nappies and keep up with evolving trends and styles, but we will be able to continue serving the community and help new parents trial cloth for a very low entry cost.

As such, ALL library kits will now be available for a small fee of £7.50 for up to 8 weeks initial term (total, not weekly!).

We expect this should be enough to cover some of the basic running costs of the library (like washing between hires and insurance etc.).

So, that's all! Thanks for reading. Let's hope 2024 brings positive change for the industry!

The wet weather is rolling in, and drying outside is no longer an option - so what can you do?

🌱 Invest in a sock peg hanger - as pictured below! - and hang it somewhere inside! Off a cupboard door, front of your wardrobe, the stair bannister...

🌱 a good old fashioned maiden! Freestanding, or over the bath, covered or not - use quick drying microfibre and cotton as well as slower drying materials to make sure you've always got enough.

🌱 A dehumidifier helps to speed up drying time indoors, and strategically placing your maiden next to a radiator (although don't let it touch - it could melt the PUL of your nappies!). On-radiator drying racks are useful too, provided nothing is touching!

🌱 Don't feel guilty about using the dryer when you need to - that's what it's there for! Most nappies will be just fine in a low setting. Just keep in mind using one may invalidate some manufacturers warranties.

It's been a little while since we posted - things have been a little hectic here at nappy HQ! But just wanted to share a quick post to say we're still here, and the nappy library is running smoothly 🥰

Kits start from just £12.50 - pop the page a message to pre-book a kit!

EDIT JAN 2024 -- Due to wider financial struggles in the nappy community, we have made the decision to reduce hire costs significantly. Our aim is not to profit, but to serve the community and help new parents to trial cloth at a very low entry cost. Therefore for the foreseeable all library kits will be available for £7.50 for an 8 week term. Please contact us for details.

🌿 NEW Price List 🌿

🛍To book a kit just pop the page a message.

Since we launched last September, we've helped dozens of families give cloth a try. For many of these families, we tried to provide a kit that really fit their needs, and that's often led to some variable pricing.

We're really keen to keep it fair, and so to avoid losing track here are our most popular hires all written down in one place!

We will of course still accommodate specific requests - please ask if you need something different 🥰

Curious about cloth wipes? Hire a wipes kit! At £7.50 for a 2 week hire you'll have everything you need to test the theory 🥰

Cloth wipes are an incredible upgrade on disposable - what usually takes 5 wipes might take one with cloth. The loops in cotton fabric that makes it so absorbent are also excellent 💩 grabbers.

If you're already washing nappies it's as simple as adding them into your wash routine. Or if you're not into cloth yet they can be a really great entry point!

If you'd like to give them a try without a big investment just pop the page a message 🌱

A great entry price and discount on the new Cheeky Wipes UK pocket nappies from this well-loved brand in the world of cloth! 👇

Hoping to get our hands on a few soon for nappy library kits!

Did you know we offer individual item hires at just £1.50 per item?

Brands release new nappies and styles all the time - but the entry price can be steep. If you prefer to wait for things to trickle down into second hand sales, a great option could be an individual hire from your local library 🥰

We work hard to get new brands and styles in stock so that you can try before you buy.

Looking for something specific? Pop the page a message! If we haven't already got it in stock, we'll see if we can get hold of it🤞

P.S Small hires can be posted for an additional postage fee. Please ask!
