Could you be one of our District Trustees?

We’re looking for two passionate volunteers to join the Vale of Clwyd District Trustee Board and help make sure our young people have the best opportunities.

It’s a strategic, behind-the-scenes role that makes everything else possible. No Scouting background needed — just a genuine commitment to making a difference.

Around 2 to 4 hours a month, with 6 to 8 meetings a year plus the AGM.

During Volunteers Week we want to say thank you to all our amazing volunteers who give up their time every week to help create amazing opportunities for the young people at 3rd Prestatyn.

Thank you to our volunteer leaders & young leaders, the people who help out behind the scenes with paperwork & planning, and the parent helpers who support us whenever we ask for an extra pair of hands.

Not all heroes wear capes, some wear neckers. Diolch yn fawr pawb.

A busy (and gloriously sunny) weekend of camping and activities for all of our sections at Gladstone Scout Camp this weekend - well done to all of our young people for giving their best to every activity & thank you to all our volunteers for giving their time to support the camp

Our cubs have been working on their skills ready for this spring’s group camp

Gwylanod Explorers have relocated to Prestatyn. The group is open to boys and girls aged 13 1/2 to 18 and is looking for new members.
The group runs DofE awards, plus scouting activities like archery, navigation & outdoor cooking and goes camping several times a year in Wales and beyond.
If you know a young person who might be interested please get in touch and we can put you in touch with the volunteers who run Gwylanod.

Our young people enjoyed the sunshine today walking from Rhyl to Prestatyn for the annual district hike - thank you to the team from Vale of Clwyd District Scouts for organising the day and well done to everyone for walking such a long way 🚶‍➡️🚶‍♀️‍➡️🚶‍♂️‍➡️
