Father’s Day! 💙

Today we celebrate the fathers, father figures, mentors, and role models who lead by example, give selflessly, and inspire the next generation.

To all the dads in our Round Table family, thank you for showing us that true leadership starts at home, that service begins with family, and that the greatest legacy is the values we pass on.

Wishing you a day filled with love, laughter, and well-deserved appreciation.

🚶 Walk at Lyme Park – fresh air, good company, and a chance to stretch the legs.

⚽ England vs Panama World Cup Screening at the Legion – a few beers, some banter, and hopefully an England win!

This year, we donated over £10,000 to 12 local organisations; from hospice care and spinal injury support, to scouts, cycling for disabled riders, and survivors of modern slavery right here in .

None of it happens without the community turning out for Bonfire Night and Santa's Sleigh rounds. This is where that money goes. 👇

Every year in May, Poynton Round Table sits down to review grant requests from local organisations and decide where the previous year’s funds should go. It’s the moment when all the hard work of running the Bonfire Night and Santa’s Sleigh collections pays off in the most tangible way possible...

🍻 Last night, We headed over to Maccbeerfest – a fantastic event put together by our fellow Tablers at Macclesfield Roundtable

We wear our Round Table shirts with pride because they represent more than just a logo — they show the fellowship, friendship, and unity that make this organisation so special.

Round Table is all about doing more:

Whilst we start distributing our 2026 donations, it’s only right we take a moment to look back at the impact made last year…

In 2025, Poynton Round Table donated £16,000 to support our local Community First Responders in purchasing a new emergency response vehicle 🚑

That vehicle is now out on the road — responding to life-threatening incidents and helping save lives across our community.

Exciting times 🤩

Following our Annual General Meeting, we have appointed a brand new team of officers who are already hard at work planning this years Bonfire and continuing what we do best — supporting our community by releasing funds to some fantastic local charities.

Alongside that, we’re putting together an action-packed programme of activities for the year ahead.

And that’s not all… we’ve launched a brand new website! 🚀
After many years with an outdated site, we’re excited to bring you a fresh platform where you can:
