This is in addition to the information we publish in the Green Book, on the PTC noticeboards in the villages and on the PTC website. Please note that there may be a delay in receiving a reply as a councillor will have to supply you with the answer from the Council and not their own personal opinion. They may pass your question/query onto the Clerk for a response or it may be passed to the Councillor who is the lead covering that issue. About Preesall Town Council

Preesall Town Council covers the township of Knott End and Preesall in North Lancashire. It is one of only three town councils in the borough of Wyre and has 12 town councillors, one of whom is elected Mayor at the Annual Meeting in May. The Council employs a Clerk who is also the Responsible Financial Officer who carries out the administrative work associated with the day to day running of the Town Council. It also employs a Lengthsman whose job it is to keep the area neat and tidy and to carry out improvement works on behalf of the Town Council; (this position is currently being advertised). The website contains information about the area, about the meetings of the Town Council and provides contact details for each Town Councillor. It also contains agendas and minutes of the monthly meetings as well as information on the Council's policies and procedures. The links page provides links to the various statutory and voluntary agencies in the area and, if you would like a link to your organisation included on the page, please contact the Clerk. Similarly, if you are a statutory, voluntary, community or faith organisation and have an event you wish to advertise through the news page, contact the Clerk using the contact form on the website. We had an amazing time at the May Day celebrations 🎉🎊🎉🎊 Preesall Town Council.
A huge well done and thank you to our Cheerdance group who wowed us with their performance!! 📣🎉

Our mischievous Fire Elf, Flicker, has hidden the light switch/remote! He insists the Grinch and the gnome need an all-night nightlight and that the tree is scared of the dark. "The lights stay ON!" he demanded.
The Real Rule:
All decorative lights
must be turned OFF before you leave the house or go to sleep because they can overheat!
