Winter tickets are now available on line at (www.badac.co.uk) and will run to the 15th June 2026. All prices are on the web site payment is by clubmate or bank transfer, for more details email [email protected].

Winter tickets will be available to purchase on open day, which takes place at Shepherds Way fishery (Shepherds Way Brookmans Park Herts AL9 6NJ) on Saturday 6th September 2025 10am-3pm. any new members who join on this day will be able to fish from 6th September 2025 & your ticket will be valid until 15th June 2026, fees as follows:

Adult member £67.00 plus £30.00 joining fee = £97.00

Junior £23.00 joining fee n/a

Disabled member £52.00 plus £30.00 joining fee =£82.00

Associate member £50.00 plus £30.00 joining fee = £80.00 ( please note you need to be a full member to fish Shepherds Way)

OAP (first year) £67.00 plus £30.00 joining fee = £97.00

Members that have been a member within the last five year, can re-join on a winter ticket on open day or as from 1st October:

Adults £67.00, juniors £23.00, oap/disable members £52.00 & associate members £50.00, all tickets will valid until 15th June 2026.

With just a week to go before our open day at Shepherds Way (Sunday 18th May) where you can renew your membership and new members can join the club, discount for new members only. There is a tackle sale of second-hand tackle i.e. rods, reels, tackle bags, and end tackle. There is also a BBQ, you can also fish on the day between 10am till 4pm, tuition for junior members also advice for older members on our waters.
Starts at 10am till 4pm.

Don Robins,

We received a letter today telling us about the passing of Don Robins who reached the grand age of 105, Don was one of the original members of Barnet D A C which was formed in 1933 , Don's funeral will take place at New Southgate Crematorium on this Thursday the 27th March 2025 at 2pm, followed by a wake at The Black Horse, 92 Wood Street, Barnet EN5 4BW .

Sadly, we have to inform you of the passing of John Barcock on Wednesday 05th March 2025 after a long illness, John was a very active member of Barnet D A C, he was a committee member, bailiff at Shepherds Way, also Fishery officer there, John did an awful amount of work in keeping Shepherds Way in a very good condition when he lived in Borehamwood, John was a very active member of the match group,
