As part of our refreshed strategy, we're delighted to announce three new major grants supporting impactful work across the UK.

We're excited to renew and expand partnerships with organisations delivering essential support to local communities through emergency and basic food provision, empowering women and girls through health and fitness initiatives, and strengthening support for Muslim women leaders in the charity sector.

These investments reflect our commitment to creating meaningful opportunities, addressing immediate needs, and building stronger, more resilient communities.

Watch this space as we share more details about each of these exciting projects in the coming weeks.

We were delighted to have our Director attend the Naz Legacy Foundation Eid ul Adha Celebration on Monday at Norton Rose Fulbright, London Bridge.

It was inspiring to see over 50 young people from a range of schools across London come together, including students from Muslim Academies, for an engaging and uplifting programme.

The event featured an interactive nasheed performance by Khaleel Mohammed, who brought energy to the room through a collaborative drumming activity, followed by a thoughtful Islamic calligraphy workshop. It was also encouraging to hear such positive feedback on the Diversity Day programme, which continues to have a meaningful impact on participants.

A particularly powerful moment came from Naz Legacy Foundation Co‑Founder, Liberal Democrat Councillor Hina Bokhari, who spoke about the importance of young people seeing themselves in positions of responsibility and leadership. She highlighted how the Diversity Day programme opens doors to spaces that have not always felt accessible, including visits to institutions such as the University of Oxford, Kensington Palace, Wembley Stadium and more, helping to broaden horizons and raise aspirations.

This initiative strongly aligns with the COSARAF Foundation’s commitment to expanding opportunity, supporting young people and championing inclusion. We are proud to support programmes that empower the next generation to see what is possible and to believe they belong in those spaces.

⚽🥊 Inspiring the next generation through representation in sport.

We were proud to sponsor the Bengal Dragons Foundation Community Sport Diversity event at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on Sunday 17th May.

The event welcomed three incredible British Bangladeshi role models:
⭐ Hamza Choudhury – Premier League footballer
⭐ Hamza Uddin – Professional boxer ranked 8th in the world
⭐ Roziur Rahman – Owner of Scunthorpe Football Club

Their journeys are helping to inspire young South Asians to believe that sport is a space where they too can thrive and succeed.

Our Director, Tashmina, attended alongside her young daughter, a passionate football player herself, highlighting how important visible role models are for young people from underrepresented communities.

Through social media and community engagement, the impact of this event is reaching far beyond the stadium, inspiring future generations across the UK and beyond.

At the COSARAF Foundation, supporting inclusion and aspiration for young people remains at the heart of everything we do.
