From classrooms to science labs, real change takes time, passion, and community.
Meet Phil Stover (also known locally as Kimani), a science and biology teacher from Canada who first connected with Moving Mountains Kenya back in 2011. What started as funding two classrooms at Gatwe Primary School has grown into a lifelong journey of transformationโbuilding more classrooms, essential facilities, and now, a brand-new junior secondary science lab!
Kimani's journey is proof that your unique skills can change lives. You don't have to change the whole world overnight; you just have to be willing to start. Whether you are a teacher, a builder, a creative, or simply someone with a heart to serve, there is a place for you to make an impact.
๐ Are you ready to write your own story? We are always looking for passionate volunteers to bring their skills, energy, and ideas to our community projects. Step up, join the family, and letโs move mountains together!
