FoodCycle community meals bring people together for good food and conversation, using food which would have otherwise gone to waste.

We invite you to join us at the table to share a free, tasty meal in Portsmouth, Havant and Southampton! ‘FoodCycle Portsmouth and FoodCycle Havant’ provides regular sit-down meals to those in need in the community by combining fresh, surplus, supermarket food (which would normally be thrown away), a team of trained volunteers, and a spare kitchen space, to create tasty, nutritious meals, and a pl

ace where friendships form. Volunteers are trained and empowered to collect, prepare, and cook the surplus food, donated from the supermarkets, to provide healthy, communal meals in a friendly atmoshere to those at risk from food poverty and social isolation. ‘FoodCycle Portsmouth’ is a project of the John Pounds Community Trust. It provides a welcoming, social, space for people to eat together and make new friends.

Amazing meals recently at FoodCycle Southampton, just come along to Sholing Salvation Army at 6pm Wednesdays. Our meals are FREE for anyone who would like to come and all made by saving surplus food!! 🍏🍓🥝🍇
