Another successful afternoon held at Sparks Community Space for Silkworth transitional residents.

Eleven of our residents attended for cheese toasties and a discussion on Prochaska and Diclementes Cycles of Change.

Residents were asked to identify where they were on the cycle and agree one step they felt realistic towards change.

A positive outcome for the afternoon!

This year has been nothing short of transformative for Silkworth. From opening our first property to now proudly housing 80 residents in Portsmouth, the past 12 months have been a whirlwind of growth, learning, but also some great success stories.

2024 brought invaluable lessons that shaped us as an organisation, but it also delivered incredible moments of progress and triumph for our residents. Together, we’ve made strides in creating a supportive, welcoming environment for those who need it most.

As we step into 2025, we want to take a moment to thank our founder, Joel Petty, who has stepped back from operations to pursue new ventures. Joel’s contributions to Silkworth have been immeasurable, and from residents to staff, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for everything he has done.

Looking forward, Silkworth is entering a new era with refreshed values, an invigorated company culture, and a dynamic team of new leaders and staff. Our focus remains steadfast: providing the highest quality service and accommodation for our residents while expanding our reach and impact across Hampshire.
