Great new urban orchard planted at the Playland artists space. We helped the young people’s vision come true and created a truly amazing green area in their courtyard. It will be a place to be tranquil and unwind. Where young artists can use nature as an inspiration. This was a collaborative project with the artists and Action Asylum providing food at the event. What a great community job well done. Opened by the Lord Mayor Gerald Vernon Jackson. We even hooked up to the trees to create a circuit that played music produced by the tree.

How are you celebrating the Portsmouth 100 years of being a city?

Would you like to join the Portsmouth Society and love your terraced House. Send them a picture of your house or a favourite house from your street. We blur numbers and names on buildings plus any car numbers. We aim to collect many pictures for future reference by younger generations. It will create a snap shot of our city. It will show people the huge variety of house designs there are here in Pompey.

Thank you everyone you’re amazing. We love a get together to make this wonderful new school orchard. 20 fruit trees were planted by 25 local people including volunteers from the school and tree wardens. It’s a happy day for the school to get all this in place for many more fruitful years.
