First ever sting to the face! I look like Quasimodo!

Rough day! I tried out a different suit and a bee got inside and stung my lip!! Ouch!! Also squashed my finger in between 2 honey supers and had my index finger sliced in a lock 😝

Thank you so much Staunton Farm - Hampshire County Council for allowing us to take over and invade the library with all our bee equipment! We had a great time and met lots of lovely families.

We loved the curiosity from the children and of course all the questions we get asked. We look forward to visiting again soon 🐝 🍯 ❤️

And as always a big thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund for giving us the time needed to educate people about our pollinators.

Such a great harvest from the golf course ⛳️- this is due to them having plenty of wild forage for the bees to feed on.

If you leave wild areas to grow freely pollinators thrive. Moral of this post - don’t spray ‘weeds’ and you’ll get harvests like this 🍯 ❤️ 😃

It was a long time coming but we finally got these ladies in to see first hand how incredible honeybees are. We did a few manoeuvres and they even helped me move a colony from a wooden hive into an Abelo. Thank you both 🐝 😀

Summer honey!! I only take my bees surplus honey! I don’t take all of it, I leave enough behind for them to use in the winter months.

But this season my bees have been mega busy! Bringing in a ton of honey both for me and themselves 😃 🍯 🐝
