Billy was absolutely overwhelmed receiving his gifts this morning!

He asked us to pass on a big big thankyou to everyone who kindly donated, wrote messages and took the time to wish him the best of luck is his new adventure! ☺️

We'd like to say a big thankyou again from all of us for all that you have done for our school community over the years, you will be missed by many 💚

Thank you to everyone who contributed to Billy’s leaving collection. Together, you raised a fantastic £374.92.

Today, we purchased a card and two gift cards, one for B&Q and one for Decathlon. These are both shops Billy uses and will genuinely appreciate. All of your kind messages have also been printed and will be included inside the card.

Anyone who would like to join us is welcome to meet tomorrow morning, Wednesday 22 July, at 8:50am at the Court Lane and Hillary Avenue junction.

We will present the gifts to Billy on behalf of everyone who contributed. Thank you again for your generosity.

Billy's Leaving Collection Pot
After many years of dedicated service to the Court Lane community, Billy (Court Lane Junction) will be hanging up his stop sign and moving on to a new chapter.

As many of you will know, Billy, our much-loved lollipop man at Court Lane Infant and Junior School, will be leaving us at the end of term to take on a new role from September.

Throughout his time with us, he has been far more than just a lollipop man. Whatever the weather, he has been a friendly face at the school gates, helping our children cross the road safely each day with a smile, a cheerful greeting, and time for a chat. His kindness, positivity, and dedication have made him a real credit to our school community, and he will be greatly missed by parents, children, staff, and families alike.

We would love to send Billy off with a special gift as a thank you for everything he has done for our community over the years. If you would like to contribute, please feel free to leave a message, make a donation, or both. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us show Billy just how much he is appreciated.

Please make any donations or leave your messages by 12 noon on Monday 20 July, so that we can arrange his gift and present it to him before the end of term.

Thank you for helping us give Billy the send-off he deserves.

We are pleased to confirm that we are back this Friday in the Junior School!

Due to how popular our Frozen Fridays have been, we were asked by many of you if we would return.

We will be selling a selection of ice lollies in the Junior playground after school. All lollies will be £1 and we are accepting both cash and card!! 🍦
