Tomorrow is the big day.

We’re looking forward to bringing everyone together at The Queen’s Hotel for Queens at the Queen’s — and tomorrow we’ll also be revealing The Pamodzi Queen, our signature cocktail created especially for the evening.

As part of the inspiration behind it, we asked women what their dream cocktail would be. One of the responses came from a member of the team at Charlotte Cornelius Jewellery, and it became part of the inspiration for what we’ve created.

We wanted the cocktail to have a story behind it, rather than simply being something on the menu. Tomorrow, you’ll get to see the finished result — and, of course, try it for yourself.

We’re delighted to introduce Sally Spicer, Founder of Talent Included, as one of the key speakers at our upcoming Together We Rise event.

With more than 20 years’ experience across recruitment, talent, inclusion and leadership, Sally now coaches ambitious women and senior leaders through pivotal points in their careers, helping them reconnect with their value, step into greater visibility and intentionally lead what comes next.

Sally’s work is underpinned by a simple belief: capability is rarely the problem — but recognising it, backing it and being willing to be seen can change everything.

At Together We Rise on 2nd September, Sally will be speaking about self-leadership, visibility and what happens when we stop waiting for permission to step forward — as well as how we can turn individual visibility into collective progress.

Because there are two parts to women becoming more visible.
We have to be willing to be seen.

And we have to get much better at seeing one another.

As Sally says:

There is something very special about knowing we have Guilt Trippin’ joining us for Queens at the Queens Hotel on 2 September.

We’ve shared a little about this incredible all-female R&B, pop and soul band before, but now we’re getting very close to the big day, and we honestly couldn’t be more excited to have them with us.

Their energy, talent and passion are going to bring something really special to the evening. We can’t wait to see them take to the stage and help us celebrate a room full of incredible women.

This year’s Queens at the Queens is all about visibility and stepping into your power. It’s about creating space for women to be seen, heard, celebrated and reminded of just how much they have to offer.

We are also incredibly grateful to Biscoes for supporting us as our sponsor. Their sponsorship is helping us ensure women from marginalised communities can be part of the evening, which will be centred around visibility and stepping into your power.
