Unfortunately it’s hard to find someone who hasn’t been touched by Cancer in some way.
Five months ago I started the process to become a complementary therapist with Macmillan Cancer Care.
I’m learning how therapies like massage, reflexology, and relaxation techniques can support people going through cancer treatment. It’s not about fixing anything — it’s about being present, offering comfort, and creating a bit of calm in the middle of a storm.
There’s a lot to learn, and it’s both challenging and rewarding. But I’m really grateful to be on this path and to have the chance to support people in such a gentle way.
