Normal business has resumed for the Purbrook Centre ,
We have a very busy month in January but some space in February if your thinking off celebrating anything.
On Sundays we have a church that use our facilities all throughout the year , but we have the 7th, 14th,and 28th available in February.

If your looking at venues with a blank canvas where you can truly make your special day unique and your own, then come and see us at the Purbrook Centre.
The function suite has wooden floor, stage area and it’s own bar, r decorated with cream walls so can match any colour schemes for your big day.

With a separate bar area away from the function suite you could even have your blessing here too, your guests can enjoy reception drinks in the bar while we switch the room over from your blessing to your reception 😀 This can also be used as a quiet room when the party really gets going 🎉🍾🎊

On-site caterers can cater for all requirements from sit down meals, buffets, afternoon teas, BBQs and hog roast at competitive rates.

The Purbrook Centre is now shut for Christmas 🎄. Any messages, emails or calls will be replied to on or after the 5/01/26.
I personally would like to wish our regular and our new customers a wonderful and safe Christmas 🎄 and all the best for 2026.

If you get stuck for something to do tomorrow then why not pop on down to our Christmas fayre 🎅, entry from 10am , plenty of stalls, hot food,our bar will be open, a raffle, & santa and his elves .

Tomorrow our first Christmas fayre , lots off stalls joining us including Whisk & Bloom , Nancy’s Bowtique , dog treats , balloon designer , handmade gifts , jewellery, wax melts and candles , and much more, there will be a raffle, hot snacks , hot chocolate and mince pies , a colouring table for the children while the adults enjoy a lunchtime sneaky beer or glass of fizz 🍺🍷, santa and his elves will make a visit 🎅 in his grotto from 11am .
Hopefully see some off you there 😀

An event was booked for today / night at the centre but was cancelled by the organiser, I've received calls asking why the centre isn't open for this event , I'd like to point out this was NOT organised by the centre but privately by a member of the public.
The centre is not responsible for any sales of the tickets as it was a private booking.
