☕️🍽️ Sister! 🍽️☕️

Are you an entrepreneur that works on her own a fair bit?
We are, so we created Lark Lunch Break as an opportunity, for at least once a month, meet up and have lunch together and connect - not a business coffee, not a working lunch, just a normal lunchbreak for women who hustle on their own most of the time.

Here is the Link for further info: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1979613437080?aff=oddtdtcreator
The event is FREE but registering via the Eventbrite link gives us an idea of who's coming.

See you in a bit x

Southsea Library
Jan 11 from 11:30am to 2pm GMT

An inspiring, informal, reflective networking event that invites us as female/TWIA entrepreneurs to collectively look ahead to 2026. Projection and Pivot is an opportunity to explore where we’re heading — and how to move forward with confidence, even if the path isn’t yet fully clear.

Guided by Jane Moody - , this session will support you in projecting intentions for the year ahead while staying flexible and responsive to change. Together, we’ll explore tools and perspectives that help you pivot when plans shift or clarity feels just out of reach. Whether you have a clear vision already or are still navigating possibilities, this event offers space for reflection, discussion, and practical insight to help you step into 2026 with greater focus, hopefully direction and definitely community!

Perfect for anyone looking to reconnect with their goals and move forward with intention.

Children are welcome to join in with supervision.

Some simple way to support the small businesses you know and love 💙

Happy New Year to phenomenal small businesses across the UK!

Let’s keep shopping small this year, and continue to support our independent businesses and local economies.

Here are four simple but powerful ways to help support small businesses this winter and beyond:

1️⃣ Shop locally and spend with small businesses
2️⃣ Show them love on socials – like, share & comment
3️⃣ Leave a glowing review (pictures are a bonus!)
4️⃣ Spread the word with your friends & family

Every little action makes a BIG difference to small business owners!

The second icon shows social media symbols that are used to show love on socials. The third icon is a speech bubble suggesting sharing a positive review, ideally with pictures. The fourth icon is a megaphone advising to spread the word with friends and family. The Small Business Saturday logo appear.

Is this a familiar feeling?

As a woman running my own business, who’s also a mum, managing multiple medical conditions (and a full-time day job!), it often feels like life is one long exercise in plate spinning, trying to keep everything balanced without letting anything crash.

I think a lot of women can relate to that. We juggle work, caring, health, family, and somehow still find the energy to build something of our own.

That’s where The Lark Network comes in.
Because we get it.

We know you need workshops that fit around school runs, events that are welcoming if you bring your child along, and spaces where you don’t have to pretend you’ve got it all together.

We know you need training that gives you practical, time-saving tips from women you can genuinely relate to – role models who understand the reality of doing business alongside everything else life throws at you.

That’s why our November events are designed with real life in mind. From our relaxed Lunch Break to our inspiring Startup Sunday and focused Writers’ Retreat, each one offers space to reconnect, reflect and get things done.

Here’s what’s coming up this month 👇

📅 Monday 3 November – Lark Writers’ Retreat at The Host Space, Southsea, with Heather Barrie from Effective Entrepreneurs and Dr Jennifer Jones - Writing Coach.

📅 Monday 3 November – Lark Lunch Break at The Host Café, with special guest Catherine Anderson from Barclays Eagle Labs

📅 Sunday 9 November – Startup Sunday at Southsea Library, with Susan Bonnar, founder of British Craft House

🎟️ Find all our November events and book your place here: https://TheLarkNetwork.eventbrite.com

If you’re feeling like the plates are wobbling right now, you’re not alone.

Come join us; you’ll find women who understand, space to breathe, and maybe even a chance to put a few plates down for a while. 💛

🌟 An affirmation to carry with you 🌟

✨ "My unique story is my strength, and it connects me with those I am meant to serve."

One of the things I love most about running Lark is that I get to meet so many women who understand the barriers I face too; whether that’s being a parent, being neurodivergent, or simply juggling all the demands life throws at us. 💛

Our stories may be different, but they are also the threads that connect us. Your story is powerful, and it matters. 🌿

Image description: White background with a grey stylised feather illustration on the right and the words “Centre Yourself” at the top in script. In the centre is the affirmation text: “My unique story is my strength, and it connects me with those I am meant to serve.” At the bottom left is The Lark Network logo, a stylised line-drawn lark in green, teal and golden yellow. Next to it, the words “THE LARK NETWORK” appear in grey, all-caps font.
