We were at Cornwallis Crescent Community Orchard this last weekend pruning and tidying up the fruit trees. Cutting off cross over branches and removing the newly formed uprights.
Sadly some damage has been done by rough playing and running across the orchard. Stakes have been removed and trees snapped. So we will be coming back with more robust stakes to save our very popular trees.
Any damaged trees are being replaced by new ones. We will be planting more Victoria plums as they have been very popular with the local people.
As you can see we have been blessing the trees and wishing them to be fruitful for everyone.
