We had the honour of visiting the children of St Patrick's Primary School in Mayobridge once again this week to conduct workshops on resilience and the power of human connection.

We get to visit this school each year and we are thankful to all there for the invite again. We look forward with huge anticipation of returning again next year.

🔷🔷Carers week in Kilrea🔷🔷

We had the honour of being present at Kilrea's Marian Hall during the week at the health and wellbeing fayre held as part of the Northern Trusts Events to mark Carers Week.

Great event and so good to meet with friends old and new along the way. Thanks for having us along to highlight our work..

🔷🔷Strengthening our communities, one conversation at a time🔷🔷

The team at Alps alongside our partners at Futures in Mind, recently had the privilege of spending two full days at the headquarters of Seating Matters just outside Limavady, delivering accredited QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Su***de Prevention Training.

We want to extend a massive thank you to the entire Seating Matters team and their friends who took part over the past few weeks. Your commitment to learning these vital skills is inspiring.

We are absolutely delighted to welcome another cohort of trained QPR Gatekeepers into our community—people now equipped with the knowledge and confidence to potentially save a life.

It was an honor for ourselves to be invited to provide access to this training. Thank you for your warm welcome and your dedication to such an important cause.

We are already looking forward to our next activities with the Seating Matters team and their partner companies as we continue to work together to foster a safer, more supportive environment for everyone.

🔷ROAD SAFETY ROADSHOW🔷

ALPS is proud to support the upcoming Road Safe Roadshow, hosted by Ulster GAA in conjunction with Tyrone, Edendork GAC, and the NI Road Safety Partnership. We are honored to be involved and look forward to being present for this vital event.

The Road Safe Roadshow provides powerful insights into road safety, aiming to raise awareness of the consequences of dangerous driving and encourage safer choices on our roads. This event is a collaborative effort featuring representatives from:

Police Service NI
Fire & Rescue Service
Ambulance Service

Thursday, 11th June 2026
7pm – 8.30pm
Edendork St Malachys GAA, Co. Tyrone

This event is aimed at young drivers but is suitable for all adults and young people aged 16 years and over.

Tickets are £5 per person and we are incredibly grateful that all proceeds from this event are being donated to ALPS.
