Yesterday, Bill & Barbara presented his final cheque to The Portchester Hub, with every penny raised going directly to Woodsy’s Food Pantry 🤍
This moment was incredibly emotional and heartfelt — the perfect way to close such a meaningful chapter. Over the years, Bill & Barbara’s Winter Wonderland has been about far more than Christmas lights. It’s been about kindness, community, and helping local families when they need it most.
We are beyond proud of Bill and Barbara. Their dedication, generosity and selflessness have touched so many lives, and the impact they’ve made will never be forgotten.
To everyone who donated, visited, helped, supported, or simply shared kind words — thank you. None of this would have been possible without you.
This may be the final message, but the kindness created will live on 🤍✨

Bill & Barbara’s Winter Wonderland – Final Message 🤍
This year we raised an incredible £3,609.84, bringing our 6-year total to £17,160.86, all donated to Woodsy’s Food Pantry to support local families.
This simply wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing helpers — past and present — our family, neighbours, and the wonderful local community who have supported us every step of the way.
Although this year was challenging due to age, health and the weather, seeing the happy faces and hearing the children’s excited laughter made it all worthwhile.
All Christmas decorations will be donated to the local hub to be sold or reused to raise further funds for local families.�We will be presenting the cheque on Friday at 10.30am at the hub in Portchester✨

Today is a very special day at Bill & Barbara’s Winter Wonderland 🤍
Today we celebrate Bill’s birthday, and it’s also the final day of our online fundraiser — but what happened last night is something we will never forget.
A truly wonderful lady, who wishes to remain anonymous, made an incredible donation of £1,820.�This moment was deeply emotional for Bill and meant more than words can ever say. To receive such kindness on the eve of his birthday, and as he closes the final year of his Christmas lights, was overwhelming in the most beautiful way.
This donation perfectly sums up what Bill & Barbara’s Winter Wonderland has always been about — kindness, generosity, and community 🤍�To this amazing lady, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You have made Bill’s birthday unforgettable and helped end this chapter in the most meaningful way possible.
We cannot wait to present our final cheque to Woodsy Food Pantry, knowing that every single donation will help support local families who truly need it.

As we head into the last week of our online fundraiser for Woodsy Food Pantry, we just want to say a huge thank you to every single person who has donated, visited, shared or supported in any way 🤍
With online and cash donations combined, we’ve raised an incredible £1,686 so far — a true reflection of the kindness and generosity of this community. Last year we raised £2,200, and every pound raised continues to make a real difference for those who need it most.
