As the festive season approaches, we at Portaferry Men's Shed would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support throughout the past year. Your encouragement and involvement have made a significant difference in our community
We wish you all a joyful and peaceful Christmas filled with love and warmth. Please note that the Shed will be closed until January 7th, but we look forward to welcoming you back in the new year

It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of the passing of Jimmy Fitzsimmons, affectionately known as "the big fella." His remarkable contributions, captivating stories, friendly warmth smile and willingness to give you the shirt of his back when times were hard and his exceptional skills will be profoundly missed by all of us at Portaferry Mens Shed. Jimmy was not only a cherished member of our community but also a larger-than-life presence whose absence will be deeply felt.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Jimmy's family and his wide circle of friends during this challenging time. Rest in peace, Jimmy.

It is with immense sadness that Portaferry Men's Shed announces the passing of our long-time member, (sas) Martin Savage. Martin will be fondly remembered for his captivating stories, infectious laughter, warmth, and the genuine friendships he fostered. He will be deeply missed by all of us at Portaferry Men’s Shed. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Martin.
