Early morning sun 🌄 thats a day for the seaside!.......and that is exactly where Yr8 are heading today 🏖 🌊
It's Newcastle day 👏 👏
A well deserved end of term trip as a reward for their first year in Clounagh coming to a close so we couldn't send them without a little treat from us.
On Wednesday the Friends of Clounagh Association production line was on fire with lots of extra little hands to help, putting together over 200 treat bags.
Claire & Simon from The Family Store have very generously donated the items to school for this we are most grateful and this morning before the pupils leave they will each receive a free goodie bag.
Kids we hope you have a great day 👌
Show Newcastle what a great school we are and leave no trace behind 😉 bin all rubbish!

Tartaraghan bus Thu 28 May
We have just been notified that the Tartaraghan bus has broken down and will not be operational this morning. Unfortunately, there is no replacement available.
It is hoped that the bus will be running again this afternoon.

"School closure dates reminder"

Dear Parent / Guardian

This is a reminder that Clounagh will be closed to all pupils on:

Friday 22 May (School Development Day)
Monday 25 May (Public Holiday)
Wednesday 3 & Thursday 4 June (Assessing and Reporting Days - all pupils will engage in Remote Learning via Google Classroom)
In addition, Year 8 and 9 pupils will have some Home Study days during the period of Summer Exams. Please consult exam timetables for details.

How amazing are our pupils 👏 👏 👏
Last nights concert was absolutely fantastic from start to....the top secret finalè 🥹
Well done to all pupils who participated past and present and to all members of staff who put the whole production together Clounagh Junior High School just goes from strength to strength when it comes to music.

Final day of Spring Term - This morning in school the draw will be taking place for the Easter raffle, good luck to everyone 🐰
Remember today is Non- uniform and school finishes at 11:45am
On behalf of the team here at Friends of Clounagh Association we hope you all have a cracking Easter break, we can only hope for 'eggcellent' weather with a small chance of our heads being fried 🤦‍♀️
We will see you back in school for the start of Summer Term bright and early on Wednesday 15th April.

The Easter Bunny has arrived in Clounagh Junior High School and he could be going home with your child 😉
The FCA team have put together an Easter raffle with 4 wonderful prizes 3 of which are packed with chocolate y goodies
Tickets will be on sale from tomorrow (Thursday 26th) until next Tuesday where each day classrooms will be visited to purchase tickets priced at £1 per strip with the draw taking place during the final assembly next week
