1st Portadown Boys' Brigade

Last night, the Anchor Boys and Anchor Academy had lots of fun continuing their scripture journey, exploring the superheroes of the Bible!

This week’s hero was Daniel, who stood strong for God even when it was difficult. The boys loved helping to tell the story of Daniel in the Lions’ Den bringing it to life with some brilliant lion impressions 🦁.

To finish the night, they created their very own lions using handprints and the results were brilliant!

A great run-up to Christmas for Anchor Boys & Anchor Academy.

In the last few weeks the boys made their own hot chocolate stirring sticks, then wrapped things up with a Christmas party full of games and fun.

The clear highlight was the snowball fight — lots of energy, plenty of laughs, and a great way to finish before the Christmas break.

Thanks to the leaders and parents for their support, and well done to all the boys. 🎄❄️

Tonight was a super fun and very messy one at Anchor Academy and Anchor Boys! 😄

The boys learned about how God shapes us, and then got stuck into our main activity… making their own gloop/slime! 👏

They mixed, squished, stretched and explored the crazy science of a substance that’s both a solid and a liquid.

A brilliant night together well done boys!
