Wonderful afternoon at Baglan Primary who were awarded a second “Gold” award for outstanding work supporting Service Children ( one of nine in Wales and one of three locally).

The Branch attended the annual Armed Forces Flag raising at Neath Civic Centre this morning, several Standards, Dignitaries and local school children who sang as part of the ceremony along with numerous veterans from The Bulldogs Veterans group, RNA and many others were all part of the proud and poignant proceedings marking the start of Armed Forces week.

Some of our Branch Members were kindly hosted by our local Army Cadet unit, where we could engage with the Cadets, share some stories, answer questions and explain about the RBL to an amazing group of young people.

A wonderful evening at Blanco’s Hotel for our Branch Poppy Concert. Our President Pam was presented with the BEM by the Lord Lieutenant of West Glamorgan and Tommy Fellows presented with the RBLs highest “Gold” award along with several other awards for all the support over the years.
