Following our recent presentation to St John Ambulance Wales, our Worshipful Master, W. Bro Tristan Evans, was delighted to present a second cheque on behalf of the members for £657.50 to Ty Nant Cat Sanctuary. This donation represents the remaining half of the fantastic £1,315 raised at our 10th Anniversary Charity Summer Curry Night, with the proceeds being shared equally between the Worshipful Master's two chosen charities.

Pictured is W. Bro Tristan Evans presenting the cheque to Marianne on behalf of Ty Nant Cat Sanctuary, whose dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to care for cats and kittens in need.

The donation will be used to provide food, bedding and essential vaccinations, helping give rescued cats and kittens the best possible start as they await their forever homes.

Following the success of our 10th Anniversary Charity Summer Curry Night, our Worshipful Master, W. Bro Tristan Evans was pleased to present a cheque on behalf of the members for £657.50 to St John's Ambulance Wales. This donation represents half of the fantastic £1,315 raised on the night, which was shared between the Worshipful Master's two chosen charities.

Pictured is W. Bro Tristan Evans presenting the cheque to W. Bro John Bamsey, Chair of Fundraising for the Council of St John's Ambulance for Cardiff & the Vale of Glamorgan.

The donation will be used to purchase uniforms and equipment for the wonderful volunteers of St John's Ambulance Wales, who do so much to help keep the public safe at events and within communities across Wales.

Thursday 6th August saw the return of the Baglan Lodge Charity Summer Curry Night at the Cinnamon Kitchen restaurant on Aberavon beach front. This year marked a special milestone as we celebrated our 10th anniversary of the curry night. A massive thank you to everyone who attended and helped us raise the fantastic amount of £1315 that will be split equally between St John's Ambulance Wales and Ty Nant Cat Sanctuary as chosen by this years Worshipful Master. Thank you also to Raam and his team at the Cinnamon Kitchen for their generosity and service in presenting us with a cheque for £100 that contributed to the total amount raised. A special thank you also must be mentioned to the Port Talbot Masonic Hall Entertainment Committee who also donated £100 towards the total.

Friday 5th June saw the highly anticipated return of the Rugby Lunch at Port Talbot Masonic Hall with former Wales and British Lions international Adam Jones and respected coach Sean Holley entertaining members and guests as special speakers. The day was filled with great food, plenty of w**e and lots of laughter and song - and even better, an incredible amount was raised for some truly worthwhile causes. A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported and helped make the day such a success.

A massive congratulations to Baglan Lodges' newest Worshipful Master W.Bro Tristan Evans on being installed into the Chair of King Solomon last night in impeccable fashion by the Installing Master W.Bro Lyn Jones. The Lodge was honoured by the presence of the Deputy Provincial Grand Master V.WBro The Rev Cannon D. Huw E Mosford and his Provincial team. The festive board that followed was filled with warmth and fraternal good humour, rounding off an evening that perfectly embodied the spirit of Freemasonry.
