Age Cymru Afan Nedd Age Cymru Afan Nedd formally known as Age Concern Port Talbot is an independent charity and we are proud to work in partnership with Age Cymru and Age UK.

We’ve been established for 40 years and provide services to people over 50 in the Afan Nedd (Neath Port Talbot) area. In 1998 the Riverside Centre was opened. We recognised that a centre was needed where older people could meet, socialise and enjoy an affordable nutritious meal. We will continue to develop the centre and the services we provide to ensure that people over 50 in our area have somewhere to meet. Whilst our name, logo and website have changed our service remains the same. We look forward to developing these services in the future for the benefit of older people in the Afan Nedd area. Our commitment is as strong as ever.
