The minimum age to join the ATC is be 12 years old and in Year 8 in School. You are very welcome to visit 499 Port Talbot Squadron on a regular scheduled evening parade (1900-2100), on Monday and Wednesday. Would you like to have fun, make friends, learn to fly, learn aviation subjects, STEM, Cyber, serve your community, play sports from a local to a national level, visit Royal Air Force Stations,

visit foreign countries, go on adventurous training and expeditions, do target shooting, achieve your Duke of Edinburgh Awards, go parachuting, climbing, sailing, canoeing, skiing and much more…
