We aim to improve patient care by providing equipment, staff training, funding research and completing special projects which go above and beyond what the NHS is able to provide. This also includes the South West Wales Cancer Centre Fund. Our aim is to create a better experience and environment for all of our patients, staff and their families. Many of our Charity supporters want to give back and

show their appreciation for the Health Board where their experience of certain areas has gone over and above their expectations. With their donations, we can enhance areas of patient settings and improve the wellbeing of all staff who work for Swansea Bay University Health Board. Touched by Cancer is fast approaching, and with less than two months to go our teams are in full swing preparing for the big day! 🏉💗

Last year’s inaugural tournament exceeded all expectations, with an incredible atmosphere and £24,000 raised for cancer services at Singleton Hospital. This year, we're doing it all again with 20 women's teams going head-to-head in support of a cause that means so much to so many.

Together, our teams have already raised over £8,000 through creative fundraising events and new challenges – thank you to every woman involved for your amazing efforts.

Mae Cais Curo Canser yn prysur agosáu, ac gyda llai na deufis i fynd, mae ein timau wrthi'n brysur yn paratoi ar gyfer y diwrnod mawr! 🏉💗

Y llynedd, roedd ein twrnamaint cyntaf yn llwyddiant ysgubol, gan godi £24,000 ar gyfer gwasanaethau canser yn Ysbyty Singleton. Eleni, bydd 20 o dimau merched yn wynebu ei gilydd unwaith eto i gefnogi achos sy'n golygu cymaint i gynifer ohonom.

Gyda'i gilydd, mae'r timau eisoes wedi codi dros £8,000 drwy gynnal digwyddiadau a heriau creadigol. Diolch i bob un o'r merched am eich ymdrechion anhygoel.

This , we’re celebrating riders like Tom Sweeney - a cancer survivor who received care at the South West Wales Cancer Centre and is now giving back by taking on Jiffy’s Cancer 50 Challenge.

This year marks Tom’s fifth ride, but his very first took place just months before his own cancer diagnosis, making his journey with this event especially meaningful.

Together, 156 participants covered an incredible 5,852 miles and raised over £8,400 for our Cwtsh Natur Appeal. From NHS staff to local schools and families, your support is helping us create a nurturing outdoor space for children in Neath Port Talbot 🌟
 
A special kudos to Blaenhonddan School for taking on the challenge and raising an impressive £3,260! The kind support of this wonderful local school will make an incredible difference to Neath Port Talbot children with additional needs. Thank you all! 💚

We’re incredibly grateful to Kirsty, Dai and their family and friends for once again turning their love for little Tegan into support for families cared for by Singleton NICU 💙

This year’s charity band night raised an amazing £1,315 for Swansea Bay Health Charity’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Singleton Hospital, helping support babies and families during some of the most difficult and emotional moments of their lives.

From all of us at Swansea Bay Health Charity, the NICU team and the future families who will benefit from this kindness, thank you for continuing to keep Tegan’s memory alive in such a special and meaningful way.

This , we’re celebrating our incredible tea bar volunteers across Swansea Bay💙

Over the past year, an amazing £5,348.56 has been raised through our hospital tea bars and we couldn’t have done it without their hard work!

From serving drinks to offering a friendly face, they bring comfort and calm to cancer patients and their loved ones during uncertain times. Every cup served helps fund our Going the Extra Mile for Cancer Appeal.

Thank you for everything you do. You truly go the extra mile for cancer!🌟
