Heroes On The Water Isle of Man

Heroes On The Water Isle of Man Heroes On the Water Isle Of Man is a Manx registered Charity . Charity number 1248 Please support us if you can.

Started in the US in 2007, HOW has helped over 6,000 service personnel and is now available in Canada, Australia and the UK and Now the Isle of Man. The physical challenge of kayaking, the mental challenge of fishing combined with the relaxing effects of water give a unique therapy that is now prescribed in the US military rehabilitation community. The kayak allows the injured to enjoy the outdoor

freedoms that we all take for granted. Sessions are ideal for those just looking to enjoy the challenges of the outdoors on equal terms with their partners or for those looking for more specific rehabilitation, either physical or stress related. Charity Commission registered, we remain independent and are totally funded by our supporters and sponsors. Our services will always be free for our guests and their dependents. The phrase coined by our guests and adopted by HOW says it all "Freedom Captured"
