Supportive Communities Befriending Supportive Communities help refugees settle in Inverclyde with the Support of Community volunteers.

Befriending can be carried out on a one-to-one basis or with a family. Please contact us if you would like to take part or require further information. Supportive Communities are a 'New Scot' Befriending project offering our services to refugees in Inverclyde

A big thanks to Befriending Networks for hosting the 'Journey across befriending' event, we were delighted to attend, meet and talk with with so many others delivering befriending services

We'd like to welcome Andy McCann and Tamara Shanks to the Trust team as our new Energy Advisors! They'll be offering Home Energy Advice, Energy Workshops and assistance with your bills. These two bright sparks have both have lovely things to say about joining us:

"This is an exciting new project for the Trust and we cannot wait to get out to the community to help people, especially in light of the current cost of living crisis and rising bills." - Tamara

"This project is so needed at the moment with people having to choose between heating & eating and if we can help people in a small way to deal with that then that would be amazing." - Andy

The guys will be out introducing themselves to everybody across the Trust over the next few weeks. Be sure to say hi if you see them! 😄⚡️🌍
