Sadly, Lifeboat WI Poole, have had to close (suspended) due to not being able to recruit enough new members and active committee roles to take on the essential roles to continue. 😔

THANK YOU to everyone that has supported Lifeboat WI since it's launch in 2017, hosted talks, attended our fundraising events, being a member and helped this lovely group continue for a successful 9 years. 😊 💜🤍💚

At our January meeting, we all became life savers, thanks to wonderful volunteers, Sue & Sarah, from Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance reminding us of CPR and how to use a defibrillator. Remember WI members, Bystanders Can Be Lifesavers.
Next month (Feb 12th), we are hosting a book night to celebrate the National Year of Reading. Bring along a book to swap and tell us all about your best read from 2025.

Our next Lifeboat WI meeting is on Thursday 8th January 7.30pm - 9.00pm at RNLI College, Poole, with visitors from Dorset Air Ambulance teaching us essential life saving skills. There will be a 2026 book review, refreshments and a raffle. See you there! Everyone is welcome.

In November, we had a delightful sing-along with local ukulele band 'Frayed Strings' and we highly recommend them, great fun!

Our next meeting is our festive gathering on Thursday 11th December, 7.30pm, at RNLI College for games, quiz, raffle and mince pies (of course!).
Everyone welcome and if you would like to join in with our present game, just bring a wrapped gift up to the value of £5.00.

Come and join us for a fun & lively meeting next week, Thursday 13th November, 7.30pm at RNLI College for some great entertainment by local ukulele group 'Frayed Strings'. Tunes we will all know and maybe some festive ones thrown in too, never too early!
