Brilliant morning at The Spire in Poole, which had a lovely atmosphere for our workshop with Breast Cancer Now. Wendy from Rising Voices brought something special to the cancer‑support group. There’s was a real warmth in the the session — gentle, encouraging, and uplifting.

Writing a song together was fun, a big deal. Not just a fun activity; it was a moment when those who had been through something tough got to shape their own message, in their own words, with a group that genuinely understood and they created a meaningful song rooted in their experience.

Lovely afternoon tea recently to thank our Steering Group members for all they have done to support the merger of Rising Voices Wessex with Lewis-Manning Hospice Care. Thank you all for your hard work.

Schools out for summer - Lewis-Manning Rising Voices choir is taking its summer holiday. There will be no choir rehearsals on the Tuesday 18th August and Tuesday 25th August. Autumn term starts on Tuesday 1st September, we look forward to seeing you then.

What a treat to sing at the Presidents Ball recently. Such a special event, we were honored to be invited to attend.

We recently had the honor of singing at our members Jacky and Adrian's wedding on a very wet and windy Saturday, but that did not dampen our spirits.

What a fantastic day at the Eco Fair!

Our choir had such a wonderful time performing — lots of smiles and great music. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped to listen and support us!

We were also very excited to show off our brand new uniform — we think the choir looked brilliant! Please like this post if you agree.

Looking forward to our next event on May 5th when we will be singing at St Aldhelm's Church, Poole BH13 6BT. It's a special occasion as it is our first concert as Lewis-Manning Rising Voices.
Lunches served from 12.15pm and we will be singing at 1.10pm. Come and join us, free entry with a retiring collection.
