George, a Devon and Dorset Regiment Veteran is a great supporter of the vision that is RB Project Q … The Stronghold element of the project is to support Veterans and Cancer Patients. However that may be required ! To do that takes Money!

George with our support is organising a 48hr rowing challenge….

Fancy donating an hour of your time ? ….I’m pledging to row for an hour in every 6….1 on 5 off. Working around RFS. RFS will be donating £20 for every hour I complete… That adds up to £160.00 in my maths.

TANGO 7 went out today but instead of heading out of the harbour, today’s excursion was to Wareham Quay for a spot of lunch for Adam and his good lady…. Quality time!

Derek did a familiarisation on TANGO 7 with Adam today another name on the list ✅😁….

I thought….as it’s a beautiful day (albeit a little windy) Derek and I could nip out and drown some worms … Two small bait robbing bream…returned safely…and a first for me a smooth hound.

Also did our good deed for the day…I spotted an orange swim ring in the middle of the channel near the harbour mouth…we recovered it (thankfully no child attached)… as we motored towards the chain ferry Derek held it up facing shore side. A little person waving their arms caught our attention…we headed to shore and the swim ring was returned. Job well done. 🇬🇧🫡.

George has come up with “another” fundraising endeavour in support of RB Project Q ….

The aim to raise awareness.

To raise funds for the next “Projects” like Gillian’s Spinal Op and day to day running.

To get the “community” actively engaged in a huge endeavour…. How far can we go?

To have fun…? The Banter will be Banging!

To make a difference… and community working together.

George’s plan is attached….

Supporting George….as a concurrent activity, I’d like to have 4 teams of 6 people…Team 1,2,3,4..

My plan:… Each person will row for 1 hour then change, then 5 hours later, row again for 1 hour.…. That’s 4 hours rowing in 24 hours. 8 hours rowing in 48…

NOTE:
This is a flexible 6 in a team.
This is a flexible 1 hour of rowing more is ok less is ok too.
What is not flexible is …I need is “bums on seats” so that rowing is continuous for 48 hours …
