Parkstone Sea Cadets One of the UKs leading uniformed based youth charities promoting Sea Cadets in Parkstone, Wessex District, Southern Area and the UK.

This is the Parkstone OFFICIAL Sea Cadets page. Spreading news and events across Parkstone, Wessex District and the UK linking 400 Sea Cadet Units. Although not a pre-service organisation, we help our young people to find a career path either to the Armed forces or civilian employment while gaining extra qualifications to give you them a head start in life.

A snap shot of fun this week both at the unit and area summer camp.

This may be the end of our evening boating season, however, it is good to see our cadets looking at courses in the autumn to optimise their qualifications and skills.

There is a new Cadet to Volunteer course open for booking! šŸ™Œ

ā—Cadets must attend all 6 modules in the Cadet to Volunteer Programme.
You can be any rank but must be over 17 at the start of the course.

Some good evolutions tonight and plenty of watertime too.

With the wind over tide it made interesting conditions, however, the cadets did themselves proud with man overboard drill, confined area of operations and coming alongside all before 8pm.
