Good Morning from Macmillan Cancer Support’s Dorset Bike Ride!

Setting out from Corfe Mullen Recreation Ground, our ambulance crew is taking a tour across west Dorset, standing by at strategic locations to enable us to rapidly get to where we’re needed!

Meanwhile we have an Emergency Responder and Community First Aider standing by back in Corfe Mullen for when the cyclists return!

Royal Cornwall Show 2026 is done and dusted! After 2 fantastic days (despite the weather) and an understandable decision to cancel Day 3, our volunteers are packing up and heading home!

Always a pleasure to come and join St John Ambulance - Cornwall and IOS along with volunteers from across St John Ambulance - Dorset !

Yesterday our volunteers joined our West Dorset colleagues at Sherborne Castle for their annual Country Fayre!

With temperatures hitting the 30’s it was a hot day all around, but our volunteers worked hard to care for everyone that needed our help, thank you all for giving your day!

Our ambulance crews have had a familiarisation on the Merlin helicopter in case we are required to attend casualties in remote locations!
