With brighter days coming scouts in Poole making sure they know how to keep themselves safe.
Another great evening with a visit from Poole Police to 1st Parkstone Scouts.

PCSO Jim Mulligan recently joined our Scouts to talk about his role with the British Transport Police and why staying safe around railways is so important. He shared valuable advice about railway safety and answered lots of questions about the dangers that can exist around tracks and stations.

The Scouts also had the exciting opportunity to take a look inside Jim’s police van, where they asked questions about the equipment he carries and how it’s used in his work.

A big thank you to PCSO Mulligan for taking the time to visit and help our Scouts learn more about staying safe!

Poole NPT officers Pete, Matt and Jason were at Poole North Scout Group in Canford Heath, to talk to the scouts about our role in the police and answer questions on policing in general. It was really good to speak to such an engaging and enthusiastic group of young people. They also had an opportunity to look inside our police car and ask questions about the equipment carried. A highly enjoyable evening was had by all. Thanks to the scout leaders for hosting us and they are to be commended for such a great bunch of young people, disciplined and keen to learn new skills and make a difference and grow in confidence.
