The Community Centre's defibrillator machine battery failed a couple of weeks ago. We were so pleased when The Clarion offered the money to buy a new one.

Using the easy to complete grant application form we were successfully awarded £267 for the purchase.

The machine has successfully helped 2 people in the past and we are aware that the need for these aids are paramount in saving lives. So thank you to the Clarion, a monthly magazine which serves the community so informatively and feeds back its profits to the community.
