This incredibly powerful song was created by the brilliant Radio Silence collective, a group of amazing musicians who have experienced conflict, violence and displacement. They chose to transform those experiences into this powerful track, calling for unity, visibility and resistance against violence and oppression.

In the days after two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela, there have been more
than 450 aftershocks. At least 1,450 people have died, and more than 50,000 people are
missing. There is huge damage to homes, health centres, power and water systems –
places and services that people rely on to survive.

People are coming together to do everything they can. Thousands of rescuers and tons
of equipment, medicines, and surgical supplies are there. They are working so hard to
save lives, but we need to coordinate and respond rapidly.

So, today Oxfam is joining with other charities in the Disasters Emergency Committee
(DEC) to launch an urgent appeal for funds.

Our thoughts are with the people of Venezuela after devastating earthquakes hit the west of the capital Caracus, at magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5.
At least 32 people known to be killed and sadly the US Geological Survey saying the death toll could be end up in the thousands.
Access to all affected areas remains limited, but Oxfam is monitoring the situation.
