Avasara Foundation

Avasara Foundation Family-run charity with a vision of creating a world where everyone has an opportunity to forge a better path.

Our mission is to empower vulnerable communities across the world through essential support initiatives. Our primary focus is in India, East Africa, and the UK. We target 4 core areas with our projects: emergency relief, education, sanitation and financial empowerment. To date, our projects have been focused on COVID-19 food relief, teaching school girls how to make cheap reusable sanitary pads, and some small microloans to young women.

We're ending 2025 on a high at Avasara Foundation with the completion of three water pumps in Malawi.

In partnership with Mozagua Malawi, we have constructed water pumps in William Village, Masinde Village, and Kumanda Nursery School. This project provides a primary water source to all three locations. All three pumps have been tested and are demonstrating high yields of water, making it a viable source of clean water for the villages and school.

Access to clean water is a basic necessity that many of us take for granted. Clean water doesn't just change daily life - it creates opportunity, safety, and hope. We're proud to hand over these pumps to the villagers to sustain the water source for years to come.

Wishing all of our donors and supporters a Happy New Year. Our work will continue in 2026.

As a small, volunteer-run charity, we may sometimes go quiet as we work out how to best deliver impact, but rest assured that we are always working behind the scenes! 😀

We are excited to announce that our work in Malawi is continuing, and we have started 3️⃣ new projects to bring access to clean water for three more rural villages by drilling boreholes and installing water pumps.

The benefits of clean water access extend from disease prevention to helping girls stay in school, as well as increasing the safety of women who often are sent searching for water. In 2024, we built our first water pump in Malawi, and have seen both the maintenance of the pump and its benefits extend throughout this year. It has taken us a bit of time to find new locations and get things in order, but we are so excited to start work again and put your donations to good use!!
